This is another picture from Salida, CO and another painting accepted into the Artoberfest show in New Braunfels. I was fortunate to get all 3 entries accepted into the show.

These kayaks are leaning against the wall of an artist's studio. I have a photo of him standing where I took this picture painting the kayaks en plein air!

One of our favorite places to vacation is Salida, CO, any season it's great. Each June, around the 3rd week, FIBArk draws thousands of people to this quaint town. The highlight is the activity on the Arkansas River, all sorts of competitions. The things they do in these tiny kayaks blow the mind, flips, somersaults, 360's, you name it they do it.
